Safeguarding
Ensuring the safety and well-being of children, young people, and vulnerable adults is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of Veryan Parish Church.
We are fully committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for all, and we take all safeguarding concerns seriously. Our commitment is reflected in our endorsement of the Church of England’s "Promoting a Safer Church" policy.
We work in partnership with the Diocese of Truro Safeguarding Team, and we follow their guidance and training standards. All members of our Parochial Church Council (PCC) have undertaken safeguarding training to ensure that best practices are followed at every level of our church’s life.
